USBTrace is an easy to use and powerful USB protocol analyzer software. USBTrace can monitor USB requests at host controllers, hubs and devices. This is a 100% software product. USBTrace can capture all USB request blocks (URBs) transferred between the device and host controller. USBTrace supports Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server operating systems.
The USB Device/Driver Views of USBTrace displays information about all USB hardware and software installed in your system. The USB Device View shows the host controllers, hubs, ports and devices present. The corresponding device descriptors, including device and configuration descriptor, interface descriptors, endpoint descriptors and string descriptors are also displayed. The USB Driver View shows all USB drivers (host controller, hub, device) loaded in your system, the device objects created by those drivers and their corresponding device stack.

Monitors USB requests at all levels

USBTrace does not use any filter drivers
Unlike other software analyzers, USBTrace does not use any filter driver to capture the USB requests. So USBTrace will not disturb the PnP system due to its presence.
Captures all USB requests during device enumeration
USBTrace is capable of capturing all USB requests exchanged between the host controller/hub and the device during device enumeration.
Displays valuable information for WDM device driver developers
The IRP, URB and IO_STACK_LOCATION structures associated with each captured request is decoded and displayed by USBTrace. Also, in addition to capturing URBs, USBTrace captures Internal USB IOCTLs, User mode USB IOCTLs, PnP and Power IRPs.
USBTrace also allows WDM driver developers to capture USB requests made/received by any device object in the USB device stack.

Convert from CD, WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, AC3, AMR, 3GP, AIFF, AU, VOX, RAW, GSM, ADPCM, A-LAW, u-LAW, g726, g721, g723, MPC, MP+, MOV, QT, AVI audio, etc. to MP3, WMA, WAV, OGG, AAC, AC3, AMR, AIFF, ADPCM, A-LAW, u-LAW, DSP, GSM, or VOX with ease. AudioCommander can also be used to change the compression for supported formats; for example, compressing a 320 kbps MP3 to 128 kbps for use in a hardware device that requires a specific setting or does not support the higher bitrates.
