ScLive has automatic scene splitting while capturing - each scene is written into its own .avi file in realtime.
It splits the scenes based on the recording-time embedded in the DV-streams or based on optical content.

Preview: You can preview the custom sample text with a font list without actually installing them.
You will see the installed fonts every time when application starts. To display any font that hasn"t been installed, go to the "Any Font Folder" bar and select it from the folder browser.
The application always list the font name together with its associated file(s) in the left bar, while sample text is displayed in the right pane.
You can play with following preview features: Sample Text, Font Size, Bold Style, Italic Style, Underline Style, Foreground Color, Background Color.
Unicode Range Character Map: You can turn on the Character Map to see the whole supported characters in the selected font.
Clicking on a character grid to see the magnified char. Tool tip is available for each character when you move mouse around the characters.
You don"t need to install the font in order to display its character map.
Property: You can get more information about a font by see into its properties.
For True Type font, you can see multilingual strings associated with the font. These strings represent copyright notices, font names, family names, style names, and so on. You can select a locale to see how the properties got defined under it.
For FON, FNT and PostScript Type 1 font, you will see basic information of the font. These information include copyright notices, font type, font style, first char, last char and so on.
Install and Uninstall: You can easily installed a font from anywhere accessible to system, or uninstall a system font and put it into Recyle Bin.
All the font types listed above can be easily installed to system or removed to Recycle Bin.
Print: You can print out the preview font list.
ClearType Tuning: If you are using a LCD monitor, probably you need this ClearType adjusting facility.
You can activate this function to switch the system smoothing mode, set ClearType contrast value, or change LCD striping order setting. You would see the setting change effects immediately on the screen.

Features Specific to Deluxe edition:
Set Manager:The Set Manager helps you mark a group of fonts to be treated as a collection set that could be activated or deactivated simultaneously. You can also select a font set for preview without activating it at all.
Drag-and-drop is supported. You can add fonts from within the program or drag font files from windows explorer and drop in the application.
Each font set has a "default font path", that is set to the folder of fonts which are added in when the set is empty. The set path can be altered as font files moved around to another place in the disk, so as to avoid adding them again and again once the file location becomes inaccessible.
Multi-level set structure is presented for the organization. This feature enable you to create sub-sets under a parent set, decreasing duplicate fonts including operations, and managing fonts in a hierarchical way. However you are not required to build such nested sets if the plain flat sets structure is more suitable for you.

* Pin Tabs - groups of pins may be organized into sections, and accessed by clicking on the corresponding tab in the Pin Palette.
* Pin Files - you may save individual sets of pins as separate files, and load them manually when needed
* Pin Management - you may create new pin files, edit individual files, and organize them using menu items from the Pin Palette. To install a pin file, so that it loads by default, move it to the Swatches folder.
* Experimental pins - various pin files are located in the Goodies folder. Use the Open Pin File command in the Pin File submenu, accessed by right-clicking on the pin palette window. This accesses the goodies folder containing the experimental pins.
* Hue clock options. You"ll find several new options for the Hue Clock / Sample Value display, including the ability to specify a more compact display than before, control decimal place display, and display even more information than before.
* Statistical display. These are sharp-edged tools for those interested in quantitative color measurements. If you do this kind of work, you will be pleased with Curvemeister"s new support for standard deviation and delta E display. Briefly, standard deviation is a measure of how noisy the sample area of a selection is; it is generally used with fairly large custom sample sizes 20x20 or larger. Delta E is a quantitative measure of color difference, typically used to show how close a particular color is to a pin color.
* Support for normal preview of selection, transparency, and layer mask - Photoshop masking, transparency and selection effects are now visible with your other layers in the preview. Curvemeister has always supported Photoshop selection and transparancy operations, but the preview image did not reflect this. Now you may see what your result will be beforehand, integrated with the other layers of the image. Most plugins do not support this level of functionality.
* Stand-alone Hue Clock. Compared to reading RGB color numbers, Curvemeister"s built-in hue clock offers a superior method of assessing whether a color is correct or not. Curvemeister 2 now comes with an additional, stand-alone version of the hue clock. This means the hue clock is always available when you want it, even when you"re not running Photoshop! This is a great way to leverage your knowledge of the Hue clock to all of Photoshop"s tools, and any other program where you deal with images. Now it"s easier than ever to zero in on the proper hue and saturation for neutrals, flesh tones, foliage, sky, and any other color whose clock value is known.
